A 30-year-old man, Anthony Gilheaney, has been charged with four counts of attempted murder after he allegedly drove a car into four pedestrians on Shaftesbury Avenue in London's West End on Christmas Day.
He is also facing charges of causing serious injury by driving whilst disqualified and possessing a knife in a public place. Four pedestrians were hospitalized, with one remaining in critical condition.
